My 2-year-old figured out the forward button on his own within a day, and now he just chugs around the living room yelling "all aboard." The 6V speed is slow enough that I don't panic when he bumps the coffee table.
The horn sound is just the right volume—not earsplitting in the living room but loud enough that my son announces his arrival with glee. Assembly took me about 15 minutes and the 6-volt battery held up through three solid play sessions before needing a charge. He's already pretending to collect tick
The horn and chugging sounds are a big hit with my nephew, and he actually climbs in and out of it himself without help. Assembly took me about twenty minutes, and the battery held up through several long play sessions in the yard before needing a recharge. Great little ride-on for the price.
